Eileen Barthle, EA, President and Owner of Barthle and Associates, is a native Floridian, born and raised in West Palm Beach. She spent fourteen years with Hoffman’s Chocolate Shoppes, a multi-million dollar confectionery manufacturing company in Palm Beach County as Accounting and Office Manager and later as Operations and Human Resources Manager. During this time she successfully transferred accounting from an outside CPA firm to an internal accounting system, researched & implemented inventory control, cash register and scale system, and implemented company-wide policies, procedures, management and employee training programs.
After leaving Hoffman’s Chocolate Shoppes, she spent six years with local CPA firms, preparing taxes and setting up accounting systems for a variety of clients. In August 2001, Eileen partnered with a local CPA to form an accounting and tax practice, Marino & Barthle, in West Palm Beach in which she was the managing partner. In October of 2005, she closed the partnered firm and opened Barthle & Associates Tax and Accounting Advisors.
Eileen Barthle passed the Enrolled Agents exam in 2002, and received a federal license from the Internal Revenue Service for tax preparation and taxpayer representation.
She has been a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor with Intuit, Inc. since 2000. Eileen also has been a Certified QuickBooks Consultant for The Sleeter Group since 2003. She has extensive experience in setting up computer accounting systems for a wide range of businesses. Her over thirty years experience in business management makes her uniquely qualified as a consultant in merging computer systems with business management.
Eileen is active in church and community activities; as chair of the accounting committee for her church festival, singing in a contemporary Christian band and acting in plays and musicals. She served as the Treasurer for Palm Beach Chapter Florida Society of Enrolled Agents for four years and after serving as the Secretary/Treasurer for BNI-Professionals In Action chapter in Jupiter for over four years, she served as the Vice President of the chapter and a regional BNI ambassador.
